This concert paid tribute to famous Chinese songstresses and movie stars from the 1930s to 1960s. First staged in 1997, the production earmarked Dama’s pioneering efforts in reviving public interest in the forgotten era of Chinese shi dai qu (Chinese golden oldies). Since its debut, the concert has been presented to full houses throughout the country.

SKLT was a nostalgic trip down memory lane with songs and music made famous by songstresses and movies stars during the golden era of cinema and broadcasting when musical scores and songs were simply exquisite.

This concert provided an opportunity to savour Dama's renditions of signature songs of stars from yesteryears - Zhou Xuan, Lin Dai, Yao Li, Li Xiang Lan, Liu Yun, Wu Yin Yin and Pan Xiu Qiong. Ma Sheng Long, the former resident conductor of Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, collaborated with Dama on the music arrangement for this production.
